Club Child and Adult Protection Policy

Focus Judo  has adopted the British Judo Child Protection and Adult Protection policies and procedures. Leon Silva is a qualified BJA Club Coach and is  DBS  checked and regularly attends the UK Coaching ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children’ course.

British Judo Child Protection Policy

British Judo upholds the principle that all children whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious belief and/ or sexual identity have the right to protection from abuse. The members, staff and volunteers are committed to the welfare and protection of children and young people so that they can enjoy sporting activities in safety without fear, threat or abuse.

British Judo is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment and accepts the responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all adults involved in judo in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
